DDS Architecture is a small team based in central Edinburgh but we have carried out projects all over Scotland.

We are led by our Director, Ross Robertson, who has worked in the architectural industry for over 25 years. Ross has a natural eye for good design backed up with strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the building regulations. He is a Chartered Architectural Technologist and an accredited Section 6 Certifier.

We pride ourselves in working as a team; with each member of the team having some knowledge of all the projects in the office. This combined with our standard systems allows us to work efficiently and effectively with the cost-saving passed on to you, our client. It’s not always possible to predict when the next stage of a project will kick into action but rest assured when yours does, we will have the resources on hand. We believe this gives us a unique edge in assisting both domestic and commercial clients to find practical solutions to their design issues.

We hold community development work and sustainability at the heart of our ethos and we have worked with our housing association clients to make improvements to local communities, putting disused building back in use and improving the energy efficiency of buildings.

Being based in the beautiful, historic city of Edinburgh means we have regularly worked on listed buildings, carrying out architectural work sensitively to ensure the work is in keeping with the original building.
